The iPad Pro is much, much bigger. As Apple demonstrated at its launch event, you can fit two iPad Air 2 units into the iPad Pro’s screen when it’s tilted in landscape. The new iPad Pro measures 12 by 8.68 by 0.27 inches (HWD) and weights about 1.57 Pounds (712 Grams). That makes the iPad Pro far less portable

The iPad Pro’s has Retina Display with resolution of 2,732 by 2,048 as Apple says it can have 5.6 millipn pixels. That sounds like iPad Pro will have much sharper image than any other iPad’s. iPad Pro will have a brand new processor. The Apple’s new A9X chip that will be 2 times faster than previous chips. It’ll also offer about 10 hours of battery life.

The iPad Pro supports a pressure-sensitive stylus The Apple Pencil that promises more accuracy for graphics and photo work. The Apple Pencil houses its own battery and you can easily recharge it by using a Lightning adapter and plugging it into the iPad Pro. Like Microsoft’s Surface Pro 3 Apple will also offer a Smart Keyboard. Physical keyboard that magnetically attaches to three small circles on the side of the iPad Pro. The trio of circles, called the Smart Connector, can carry power and data. The Apple Pencil Will cost about $99 and Smart Keyboard $169.

The iPad Pro houses four speakers that are three times louder than the iPad Air and automatically balance the audio on the left and right sides, depending on how you’re holding it. iPad Pro include a Touch ID sensor built into the home button and an 8-megapixel iSight camera. But there is no USB-C Port.

The iPad Pro starts at a steep $799.99 and will arrive in November.

ASUS ZenWatch 2 coming in Q3

asus-zenwatch

ASUS CEO Jerry Shen told reporters that the ZenWatch 2 would be launching next year, with two versions designed specifically for men and women. It turns out that there was a bit of a “misunderstanding” about the release date, the ZenWatch 2 will land in stores early in the third quarter of this year, as originally planned. ASUS has apparently put a ton of effort into improving battery life for the new watch.

Shen claims the ZenWatch 2 will last just under four days on a single charge, though he initially hoped to get that up to a full week. Additionally, the smartwatch will offer “many improvements in user experience.”

My first review of LG Watch Urbane

LG-Urbane-screenshot-e1424766377363

The first generation of Android Wear smartwatches were quite impressive, and while things remain quite similar in terms of specifications, features, and the software experience with the current crop of devices, there has been a significant improvement in terms of design and build quality. LG has been at the forefront of this evolution, starting from the reference model-like nature of the LG G Watch, to its first round face smartwatch, the G Watch R, culminating to its latest, and most expensive, offering. Is the newest Android Wear smartwatch from LG deserving of a place on you wrist? We find out, in this comprehensive LG Watch Urbane review!!!!!!

DESIGN

Judging by the design and build quality of its latest offering. The Watch Urbane is classy and elegant, and looks great not just in terms of being a smartwatch, but as a watch in general, with elements like its circular design, power button disguised as a winder, and thick watch lugs making for a device that looks like a regular watch to the untrained eye.The body is constructed with a polished stainless steel that gives it a luxurious appearance, along with a nice substantial feel to it, without being overly heavy

The band is made from genuine leather, and comes with real stitching along its sides. The leather LG likes to use is quite stiff and rigid and may not be to everyone’s liking, but does hold up very well against everyday wear and tear, while being comfortable on the wrist. The Watch Urbane is one of the larger Android Wear smartwatches available, but definitely isn’t a bulky watch by any stretch of the imagination. Granted, it could take some getting used to, but if you are already comfortable with wearing larger watches, the Watch Urbane will feel quite normal.

DISPLAY

The Watch comes with a 1.3-inch P-OLED circular display with a 320 x 320 resolution, resulting in a pixel density of 245 ppi. The display is protected by a Gorilla Glass 3 panel that should keep it free from scratches. As expected, the plastic OLED screen provides some very deep blacks, saturated colors, high contrast ratios, and enough brightness for easy outdoor visibility. The deep blacks and high contrast make darker watch faces look fantastic, along with graphics looking good, and text being reasonably sharp and easy to read and it definitely is a very good looking screen.

PERFORMANCE AND HARDWARE

Watch Urbane packing the same processing package as most other Android Wear smartwatches out there, with its quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, clocked at 1.2 GHz, and backed by 512 MB of RAM.Day to day performance has been very smooth with clean animations, while swiping between cards, notifications, opening apps, and changing watch faces are all done without any instances of stutter. It is also coming with support for Wi-Fi, which it can now take advantage of with the Android Wear version it runs, as well as Bluetooth 4.0 LE. 4 GB of on-board storage is available, as well as the usual suite of sensors, like the accelerometer and compass, and a heart rate monitor on the back. The watch also resistant  to dust and water resistant up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.1.3-inch circle P-OLED display, a 22mm stitched leather strap, a 410mAh battery with a battery life of 2 days.

At last the Watch Urbane certainly looks pretty nice, but you might want to keep in mind that it’s possible a new crop of Android Wear devices will be introduced sometime around Google I/O in June.
